Educator Intern
Held two times a year, this program is designed to educate community members about Volusia County Schools through on-site shadowing experiences with district administrators. This program was initiated by FUTURES to help community leaders learn more about the operations of the school system and to provide them with an avenue for sharing ideas and suggestions for enhancing the quality of education in the school system.
FUTURES Foundation supports educational quality for the Volusia County Public School System by directing resources toward areas of identified need, increasing community involvement and support, and encouraging open communication between the community and our schools. FUTURES Foundation, with a 501 (c) (3) designation, is the only organization that provides assistance to all public schools in Volusia County.
