Dear FUTURES Supporter,
FUTURES Tomorrow's Leaders enjoyed their experiences at the third seminar, "Criminal Justice - Part 2." This seminar was hosted by the Volusia County Justice Center with Judge Joseph Will and County Prosecutor Ryan Will (top picture), the Volusia County Branch Jail and the Daytona Beach Police Department (bottom picture).
In celebration of our mentors' contributions across the county, FUTURES/Take Stock in Children will once again recognize a Mentor of the Year who exemplifies the spirit of mentoring, give of their time and wisdom to help young people succeed in school and life. This year our Volusia County Take Stock Mentor of the Year is Mr. Mike Coffin. Mr. Coffin is a Volusia County Sheriff Chief Deputy and a Mentor at DeLand High School.
