FUTURES Hosts Seventh Annual Caribbean Party
Throw on your island attire and get ready for FUTURES Annual Caribbean Party! Relax and enjoy the sights, sounds and flavors of the islands on Friday, April 30, 2010, 7:00 p.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 134 N. Halifax Ave., Daytona Beach.
This is the seventh year of the popular Caribbean Party, an annual fundraiser for FUTURES Foundation for Volusia County Schools. Tickets are $60.00 per person. Guests will enjoy gourmet island cuisine prepared by a top local executive chef, complimentary beer, wine and beverages, music and entertainment. All monies raised go to
support the programs of FUTURES, Inc.
For more than 25 years, FUTURES has supported Volusia County Schools through scholarships for students, dropout prevention programs, grants for the classroom, and student and staff recognition programs.

Take Stock In Children Fundraiser
Mark Hodgson and the Daytona Beach Blues Society
On February 24, Mark Hodgson and the Daytona Beach Blues Society presented a concert benefiting Take Stock in Children. Mark and his fellow musicians graciously donated their time for a performance of fantastic blues. Mark, who has been described by fans and the press alike with phases like, "Mark 'Muddyharp' Hodgson is the best harmonica player they'd ever heard, is also founder of the Memorial scholarship in honor of Noble Watts and Bob Greenlee administrated by the Daytona Beach Community College Foundation.
