Principal of the Year
The 2010 Elementary and Secondary Principals of the Year awards are co-sponsored by FUTURES Foundation, The Civic League of the Halifax Area, and the Volusia County School District. This years' recipients were surprised by a visit from the Prize Patrol comprised of Superintendent Smith, FUTURES representatives, school board members, and area superintendents.
Marilyn Travis of Read Pattillo Elementary is the new Elementary Principal of the Year.
John Polsinelli of Holly Hill Middle School is the Secondary Principal of the Year.
