Support Staff of the Year

The school-based SSOY recipient is Robin Nestok, School Way Café Manager at Citrus Grove Elementary in DeLand.

This year’s non-school-based SSOY recipient is Karen Tubb, office specialist at DeLand Student Transportation Services.

The announcement was made during the annual Bus Brigade where a small group of VCS leaders and FUTURES Foundation representatives surprised the winner.

The Support Staff of the Year award is co-sponsored annually by FUTURES Foundation for Volusia County Schools and Volusia County Schools.  It was initiated to honor support staff members who have demonstrated outstanding commitment, teamwork, cooperation and innovation in their jobs.
