FUTURES Welcomes New Volusia County Teachers with Breakfast and Luncheon
FUTURES had the honor of serving and celebrating 460 new teachers coming in to Volusia County Schools this year! We served breakfast and lunch to kick off their new teaching adventure. We'd like to thank Mainland High School for hosting, Addition Financial and Nova Southeastern University for sponsoring lunch, Superintendent Dr. Carmen Balgobin and School Board Members for greeting new teachers and to our FUTURES Board members David Jimenez, Dr. Donnie May, Valencia Gallon-Stubbs, Michelle Lee, and Dr. Linda Bradley, our student volunteers and staff members for all the hard work they put in for this event to run smooth.
Teachers, we hope you have a great first year!
